Parking & Secure Documents Sponsors Bags of Hope
Parking & Secure Documents (PSD) is proud to announce our sponsorship of Bags of Hope, an initiative dedicated to improving the lives of children in need. Spearheaded by Bags of Life, the project gathers second-hand school bags from schools in the UK and delivers them to children in underprivileged countries, providing them with essential educational supplies.
Over the past year, Bags of Life has partnered with the Rotary Club of Caterham to collect 200 used school bags from schools in the southeast. These bags, kindly donated by local students, will soon be sent to schoolchildren in Nairobi, Kenya.
The importance of this initiative is greater than ever. According to the Amara Charitable Trust, many children in Kenya currently use makeshift containers like cardboard boxes to carry their school supplies over long distances. These inadequate alternatives make the challenge of accessing education even harder. With the durable school bags from Bags of Hope, children can focus more on their education.
Through our sponsorship, we are helping ensure that donations from UK schools reach the children who need them most. We are proud to support this effort, working alongside local schools, Rotary, 512 Shipping, and other partners to make a difference.
